The completion of an Introductory course is recommended for potential students wishing to pursue the BACP-Accredited 3 year course in Adlerian Counselling.
It is also a requirement for students entering the course at Year 2 who have studied a non-Adlerian Year 1 equivalent elsewhere to complete an introductory course: this is to enable them to gain knowledge of specifically Adlerian concepts in order not to be at a disadvantage when commencing the Year 2 training.
Individual Psychology Training runs Introductions to Adlerian Psychology courses throughout the year. These courses are suitable for anyone with an interest in self-development, or learning more about Adlerian psychology, as well as for those intending to progress to a counselling qualification.
The courses are generally run in a blended format, with a training weekend at the start and end of the course, and the remainder of the sessions conducted online via Zoom in short weekly evening sessions.
